Myth: Women are creative only at certain points of their cycle

Be it ovulation or menstruation, our bodies go through several changes as the menstrual cycle keeps rotating not just physically, but also mentally. 

Fluctuations in oestrogen levels are said to impact our creativity. Some days we feel a little sluggish and on some, we are driven with creative energy. Is our period cycle to blame? Maybe, maybe not.

Connection between Creativity & Period Cycles

Your periods may impact your productivity due to the rise and fall of PMS symptoms but it has no say in your creativity. One could have fruitful and sustainable creativity irrespective of any phase in the period cycle. 

But there’s no harm in taking a break whenever needed and fighting period fatigue the right way! Like your body, your mind also needs to rest in order to bounce back better than ever.
